Executive Chef Michael Woods

With over 15 years of experience cooking, Executive Chef Michael Woods is excited to re-introduce his version of a modern approach to Pan-African cuisine. BussDown Delivery is a blend of comfort food favorites, street classic small plates and a mixture of all the right spices that you never knew you needed. Chef Woods has been featured in a host of articles like Forbes and Eater but is most noted for being featured in the first black history episode of "Chopped" on the Food Network. He is celebrated for his creativity, passion for food and the rich history of the African Diaspora. Bringing an Oakland native to the most Iconic building like the Tribune, to be able to create high-end deliverable cuisine for all to be able to enjoy is truly a dream come true for him.
